'Memories of Burford Grammar School' - Stuart Norridge

Stuart was a pupil at Burford Grammar School twixt 1961 and 1967.

In 1973 he qualified as a teacher and in 1975 returned to BGS as a teacher when he taught a wide variety of subjects; geography, commerce, general studies and business studies. In 1986 Stuart taught history until his retirement in 2014 after 39 happy years as a teacher.

Fortunately, for the School, Stuart remained very much involved, as a Governor, organising trips abroad and a WW1 tour of the battlefields of northern France. Since retirement Stuart has been working his way through reports, photos and miscellanea compiling an archive of the history of the school.
