For hundreds of years highwaymen have preyed on travellers on England's roads but a surprising number were born in Oxfordshire, plied their trade here, attended the University or met their ends here. Mike White has documented their lives in his recent book, Rogues of the Road and will be telling some of their stories. As the author of two previous books on Oxfordshire folklore, he may even shed some light in those who still haunt the county after their deaths...
