About the Event
This much‑loved evening of shared reminiscences, led by David Cohen, Curator of the Burford Tolsey Archive, has become one of the town’s most popular annual gatherings. Using a wide‑ranging selection of historic images from the Archive, David invites the audience to explore Burford’s past through collective memory.
Audience participation is warmly encouraged. One person’s recollection often sparks another’s long‑forgotten moment, creating a lively and engaging conversation in which memories are rediscovered, clarified and enjoyed together.
The event is equally rewarding for long‑standing residents and for those who have more recently made Burford their home. All are welcome to enjoy an evening that celebrates the town’s rich heritage and the stories that continue to shape its identity.
Whilst admission is free to all BENEFACTORS they need to preregister their intention to attend.
